Description
Elaboration:
L’Alleu is a copage wine aged in oak from the two most typical varieties of DO Monstant, Garnacha and Carinyenal, hand-harvested and from old vines over 50 years old and organically grown located in the Marcà region. Fermentation takes place for 25 days in stainless steel tanks and then it is aged in 300 liter French oak barrels.
Tasting note:
Alleu is a wine with the characteristic features of the Montsant area with aromas of ripe fruit and with marked tones that are typical of aging in oak barrels, In the mouth it is complex with a long aftertaste and a very balanced acidity.
Pairing:
L’Alleu marida it is very gastronomic, very suitable for meat meals, stews, game meats and barbecue, also with cheeses and pate.
