Elaboration:

Gritelles Argentera Carinyena – El Perfum, is harvested by hand from the essence that is pieced at an altitude of 650 meters at the foot of the Sierra de Les Gritelles where the Siurana River originates in the Vall de Cornudella. They are vines of Black Grenache vines from vines more than 45 years old.

GEOGRAPHICAL AREA: Northeast of Montsant, Region of Priorat, Catalonia

DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: DOP MONTSANT, single varietal of black Grenache.

Alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts for 28 days. Aged for 18 months in 225-liter barrels with its lees.

Tasting note:

Gritelles Argentera Carinyena – El Perfum, is a wine with an intense red color, the nose is dominated by red fruit with character, very round and complex, on the palate it is powerful and dry with high acidity and tannicity.

Pairing:

Gritelles Argentera Carinyena – El Perfum is perfect in glasses or with white meats, lamb and most cold cuts, it also goes well with pasta and cheese.
